We've been working on a new website dedicated to the Alex Racing Design Barracuda R2, and here's the web address:

www.alexracingusa.com

It might take about 1-2 more weeks before it opens, but start bookmarking it now Also, it will be a simple website (nothing flashy) but hopefully we can provide a lot of information for the Barracuda Racers

Thanks for reading,

Rainbowten.co.jp are currently offering a 5000 yen discount on Red Baraccuda R2's. 34,800yen after discount.

Apparently they purchased too many Red cars by mistake Might be a good buy if you don't mind red

Hi Guys,

The car kits have arrived! I'll be finishing up the supplement instruction sheet and the parts list in English.

Also, the price of the R2 will be $309.99 Our spec is a little bit better than all the R2 out there (we requested different specs for the US market) The R2 kits from us will have full ball bearing steering (I'm not sure why, but the original spec of R2 only have bushing steering). I feel that this is an necessity, so we are including in a full bearing kit for the steering as well.

Everyone on the pre-order list will be contacted either by phone or email today. Thank you all for your patience.

Also, don't forget to bookmark the upcoming website: www.alexracingusa.com

Steve,

Thanks for all the stuff today at the shop. I always have a pleasant experience at your shop. But, why did you have to show me the R2? Now I've become the newest drooling member on the list. The drivetrain is soooooooo smooth! and the overall geometry is very simple. The car looks amazing, simple as that. Hopefully after Vegas, I can get my feet wet in electrics. I can't think of a better car to start with. Thanks again and I hope that you'll be calling me soon!

LOL, simultanious posts

Wish I lived near a model shop that was that good, there are none that have a stock of good electric rc cars in Glasgow, one of the two biggest cities in Scotland. If I had the money I would start up a shop here myself, would try and become the UK importer for Barracuda's too, but thats just a dream, even though I think I could really make it work if I had the money to start. The UK has two decent mail order rc shops, one is better than the other for range of parts but it's website won't let you order from it, you have to ring, the other will let you order online but it's not got the higher quality stuff you want sometimes. With good marketing and the right staff, I could make a nice living, ahwell time to dream about my cuda instead.

Hehe, do you notice how "forced" his smile was? He was thinking, "Hey Steve, what the heck am I doing here posing for you while I can be at home now putting together this sweet ride!"
