JDM: I heard some bad thing about Pal short arm set.The rear arm holder will block the lower motor mount screw hole.So you need to remove the arm holder first in order to change motor. Can you confirm it??If so,then it is quite trouble to use.

Hi Tsubasa...

I have no problem reaching the Lower Motor Mount Screw...I belive I told you before ..?? about the magic tool You'll need to use a "HUDY" Driver..you know the one that has sort of a angled head so you can remove screws at different angles

The Owner of Contol Center Said the same thing too..when I was there in December ..but I told him about the Hudy driver...maybe he forgot also

JDM: Sorry for my bad memory.
Do you have any pic showing the position around the arm holder and the motor mount??

ok, time for some build questions.

When you recommended sanding the gears for a free spinning drive train how much sanding should be done. Is it just a very light rub on the corners of each tooth?

Are there any steps that are tricky or very important to get right?

Whats a good shock oil weight to start with? especially for a very low grip track

How difficult are the diffs to set? and do they come loose a lot after a rebuild?

and one mainly for Speedtech, will the manual be in english? I've seen the online version in Japanese and the pictures look good enough but somre readable text may help.

Are the screws steel? alloy is nice and light but also a pig for stripping the heads.

Dave,

I think Tsubasa Sakai is the owner of Control Centre. I'm not 100% sure though.

FDR 2.44............if you want to be exact it would be 2.4375 which is 39(diffgear) divided by 16(inputgear)

Unhappy

there are a few things i dont like on the cuda:
1. diffrent shock length front and rear..
2. dirt can get into the gears.
3. the gears have to be modified to run smooth.
4. the cvds are not straight from the diff to the hubs (do u know what i mean?)
5.the cassie edges has to be trimmed.
6.the springs are not colored.
7.the battery should be closer to the shaft

i hope i wont find more things like that..
