yah! i want a rocket my esc/motor allows me a 10cell limit if any kit would be able to fit more cells without need to piggyback cells i'll get the kit....thinking of xray...but nah!! never like the car....if there's a 10cell shaft driven car...that would be my next purchase

The new R2 chassis will hold 8 cells

yah i know that with the chassis if you put 8 cells your esc would need to be mounted on the upperdeck

THen you should keep your Barracuda.. and just buy the 2 Speed chassis upgrade... and they you would pretty much have a Car that would be 90% R2 and would kick some serious but and would carry some speed with the 2 speed =)

BTW I now know where to get different Ratio's for the 2 speed now..

Ratios from 4.75~8.0

Just a thought

But it might be a little while due to the fact that I'm still out at sea. ....It might be summer time before I get back to Japan..
But if you can get the Chassis upgrade on your own... I can get the gears and clutch stuff when I get back.... I think that it costs less than 3000 Yen for the Gear upgrade.... the companys name is Seyo~Tune.. Kind of a Local guy at my track... makes all sorts of One-off parts and such 7.0~8.0 in 48p should be easy..

ok will do! i'll get the conversion for my other NIB Cuda and wait for the gear option....does it have anything higher than 8.0??maybe up to 9.0??now 2 speed on brushless will make the 1/8th scale sweat

EDIT: i'll wait till you can get me the gear option as i wouldn't want to be stuck with a 2speed coversion with only stock gearing....i dont run stock...even local races dont have a stock class unless it's a Tamiya race....other are just plain open modified and open outlaw class(brush / brushless anything goes only rules are Touring 4wd/6cells/1500g minimum weight)

Yes and no....

I have seen the Mount work.. but only after someone made a alloy sleeve to go over the shaft where the bearing goes.... sould be a easy mod' you just have to get the sleeve made with a set screw and a notch on the carbon shaft.....also it only works with the one flag mount and not the square one
