Get the R2.... It's a little bit more refined' and has about 75% of what the PAL version does... also.. Better Chassis balance

JDM, so the R2 has the same layout as the TB Evo II and the Pal is similar to the Evo III/TC3 , right? What parts should I stock up on? Also, does the R2 come w/ front one-way?

The parts that I would stock up on would be A-arms and DOg bones.. Thats about it for the R2... But I would get the optional aluminum front and rear shaft supports to replace the Plastic ones

It sure does.... Also a few other things fit over to the Barracuda that speed way PAL makes for the CE-4..
If you have the short span A-arm conersion... you can use the Ti Hinge pin set that is made for the CE-4... it's a good way to drop 14grams

Yes they are the Gold colored ones ... I wish I had my CD with my R/C pic's on it.. Because I had the Ti CE-4 Shafts spun down in the Center to loose a tad bit more weight

your right about the weight difference.. but I think that it was more than 8 grams when I checked them together..more like 10 grams... anyways it's a good buy if you want to loose some weight after adding the PAL arm conversion.. ....
I have my PAL "Cuda" weighing in at 1505grams with with body and 3300 GP's/GT-7/Futaba 9550 and Ko 301 receiver

I know whenI was in HKG .. I must have went to about 7~9shops looking for some parts!! ...but nothing...Control Center was the only place that had anything .. and most of it was in a Bag ...

But CE-4 parts are pretty easy to find here in Japan ..

I can get the Hard Graphite C-hubs and A-arms easy... they are pretty cheap now too... The LOCAL Track has a bunch of them in stock too..

BTW do you have the Lower A-arm mounts.??? the 4.5mm ones.?? works really well with the Lower motor mount set

Exclamation Also 3 types of A-arms for "Cudas" now

Alex Racing is also going to be releasing some MID Span A-Arms sometime here real soon from what my Japanese buddys just wrote to me.??

So that now gives us all the options....and it makes sence if you look at the new R2 chassis and wondered what the extra set of A-arm mount holes that were drilled in the chassis

Looks like some real good info from stuff to come from ALEX and Kai
