Oops... I think you can translate those Japanese phrases by Altavista's translate! It works great!! I just knew one racer in HK had the hinge pin version installed... Rumors claim it improves cornering ability!!!

You still need torque rods with the PAL arm conversion?
I used to have torque rods for the front but I didn't need them after I switched to the PAL arms

Ran the Barracuda for the first time last weekend, only was able to stay for a couple of heats, but it seems to have great stability, a lot of speed, but lacks corner speed. I think it is just too stable. What do you suggest changing that would make the front end a lot more agressive? Any tricks with roll centers etc that generate more front end grip?

I see... But that conversion kit will cost 1HKD=100Yen (noramlly, 1HKD=6~7Yen) as they are really rare in HK!!

Big differences are also noticeable when changing to the 'hard' Alex A-arms!

Besercoe: In my little opinion, assume the dampers are set rightly, I suggest placing shims (0.5~1.0mm) under the front hex balls of front A-arms. This increases kick-up angle and will give an overall more agressive steering!!

For front roll centre, I will suggest to adjust the upper camber link as tilt as possible! A too level link will prohibit the car from steering into corner and greatly slow down cornering speed! Do try this at track!

The Speedway PAL Short arm coversion will fix about 70% of the problems that you are having.

I use 300 weight all the way around with a 1.4mm sway bar up front in front and 1.5 deg camber in front and 1 deg camber in the rear.

The PAL Cuda corners like it's on rails with that set up

I Can get a few sets of the PAL arms if you'd like for about 8000 YEN each but thats the best price I can find in Japan on theses arms
When I was in HKG this past november I think I cleaned out JET and Control Center of Every PAL/Baracuda/One Flag parts that they had in Stock

HPI 27mm Pinks all the way around or if the track has serious traction issues I switch to HPI 27mm light blues
