The alex tools look cool, but how is the fitment of everything? I know the T10 is a pretty loose fit wrench..

My T10 wrench seems a good fit for the Ti screws in the web. Could be worse, cuold be like those plastic tools you get in the TC3 kit, just dont adjust more than one turnbuckle with that thing they provide!!!

BTW Randman, what oil you running in yer Cuda's?????

Just building mine and seem to have conflicting views on choice of oil to use.
Have standard web shocks and also managed to get hold of HPI #2 pistons, still have kit springs, do Associated springs or Yokomo springs fit????

Any help will be v useful.

AE springs do not fit... a little smaller in diameter.
the Yokomo springs do fit...'coz that's all I have at the moment.
waiting for 'Cuda springs to arrive.
HPI springs should fit as well...

the HPI ones fit very nice and so do the Ray Speed ones...

if you buy the RaySpeed ones get the Reds and whites they seem to be the best for the cuda...with mid or long span arms...
if you get the Hpi ones get the pinks or light blue ones..

Guys I need an opinion. Im really close to getting my Cuda but I have Questions for you give me some input. I found a limited edition web special for about $550 from Japan but the car wont come with the Alloy hubs and PAL, but is the Orange virsion and Orange is turning me on for some weird reason. Should I take it or just get onother color and have the extra goodies for about the same price I can hop it up myself. I was also thinking if I break the orange one what the heck am I gonna do for spares I bet theyll be hard to get. Please advise me to make a smart choice.

Your Almost Cuda bro.
