I just finished up my front shock tower, people complaining about front tower strength will be interested in this. Unfortunately I wont have pics for about a week, but this thing isn't breaking anytime soon

Now, I do understand that a shaft car is noisy and being an R2 is one of the noisiest of the group, but this thing is down right loud! I'm just curious if this is right or is it cause by the stock 72t spur? I already did the light sanding down process of the bevel and large gears.

I need to know that shimming process your all talking about so to quite it down a bit. Also, what size spur gears are ya'll running?

Daniel
Forgot to add, if you're running at SoCal, ditch the swaybars.

They won't fit since the pillow balls are quite larger in diameter.

I'm going to do some swaybar testing with a mod motor, but they really arent needed in stock. I bought some thinner swaybars than the car comes with as well, those thick things wont on much besides carpet I'd think..
