My R2 was really hooked up last night, I'll give the center 1 way a shot and see how it works.

I`ll give you a hint...it involves a little filing and shimming of the 16T bevel gear...... and a few other key things ...I want to get it down perfect before I post how to do it .. but it will make the car much quieter

He's not withholding any info, just showed me how to shim things so I would stop stripping my spur gears...

Thumbs up RocketFish & "El Rando" LLLoookin Tough !

Hey "El Rando" just wanted to give you the thumbs up on yer performance out there with the new fish. Nice work.

Go easy on Rtype though, you get that guy fired up and he'll pull off another RROC type performance, he's fast enough already

4 Cuda's Tuesday night, didn't catch the other cats name, wonder if he's a board member

Thanks Randy....

Anyways ...back form the track today and all of the Testing that I have been doing has paid off ...... I finaly figured out how to make the Barracuda "QUIET"

OK... 1st take a look at the bevel gears that you have because ALEX Racing makes 3 different ones ... well the R1 bevel gears are no longer made....but there are still 2 types of bevel gears for the R2 Anyways take a look at attached picture....

the older R2 gear is on the Right and the newer gear is on the Left.....you will want the left gear...but you and still make the other one work just as well... if you look at the picture...the right bevel gear has a smaller lip behind the gear section,,,and the newer R2 gear is a bit thicker ...by about .02~.03mm

Stay tuned for more....on how to make the Cuda quiet..
