Some setups are finally showing up.
You might need to download Japanese addon for your acrobat reader. Go get it at acrobat homepage.

ran my car this weekend, no racing just trying it out. it is quick but has torque steer to the right. handles pretty good it is hard to get loose with a stock motor. I have an interference problem that I must cure. I think it is the battery wires and maybe the aluminum antenna mount.

no, my radio is a JR 756. it is FM with fresh AA batts. JR crystals don't seem that durable, may need some new ones or possibly a different reciever or replace the antenna mount with a plastic one.

If the receiver's old, you may try other receivers or install differently.
I don't have any glitching problem.

Hope you work it out.

Greetings,
I currently run a 414m as my tourer, and am considering the barracuda as the platform for the open races. Anyone with both 414M and Barracuda care to comment about the build quality between the 2 cars? The need to obtain the aluminum shaft holder/guide is worrysome. Thank you!

Regards,
Alvin

PS: The steering on the barracuda is simply lovely!

i have not built a 414 but my barracuda went together nice. the shaft holders are available from rcmodel and probably control centre as well. If you do get one I would try the PAL version that contol center has. The battery is one the left side which would help fight the torque steer to the right during acceleration. See if you can get a picture from control center to confirm which version of the car they are selling.

Build guality of Barracuda is pretty impressive to me.
I heard that 414MII's quality is good too.

I haven't had any problem with kit shaft holder though.
You might want to get torque rods, optional rear ball end to change rear toe-in.
