10feet is the minimum allowed at Scottish Championship events, some permanent tracks are more like 12foot, not that you use much of the width in most places. One or two are nitro tracks so they're fast with long straights, even with a 12turn motor you can have a little snack as you go down the straights the tracks are normally boring to drive on though because there's no challenging chicanes or sequence of corners. Carlisle is a permanent track designed with electrics in mind so it's a good little track, I'm glad I'm getting the chance of racing there this Sunday
Just ordered my Pro Trak charger with temperature detect module should arrive tomorrow, although they don't guarantie it for Saturdays. Will have a nice purple heatsink now all I need is a purple Cuda to match it

so I haven't given up totally on the 'cuda yet...

But as I am finally going over the car like the millionth time and finally breaking in the drivetrain....I noticed that my rear diff has a wobble to it.....Is this natural for delrin?( I have never had delrin diffs before) Could this be the source of all my problems?

The diff isn't too tight, it is about 1/2 the way out from tight so it couldn't be that...I think that the stuff is warped.

I did take the diff apart and reassemble it, but still the wobble persists...

Any thoughts?

Steve--Could this be a warranty issue? I have no clue...

Hey Kracer....I forgot to tell u. I wound up having a slightly warped input gear. It was wobbling quite a bit. And it was adding quite a bit of noise. I had a replacement, and it helped a lot.

I have seen some Diff housings that were machined slightly off and didn`t allow free movement between the bulkheads.. and a few other diff housings that had a small bit of flash were the diff rings reside on the derlin outdrives.. have you checked to make sure that the diff rings are completely seated ...this might be parts of the problem.. Check this out and let me know what you find out

Well,

I tool the whole car apart...and everything just seems to fit. When I tried breaking in the drivetrain again, I noticed the long half of the delrin outdrive slightly wobbling. So I took the diff apart again and rebuild it, no problems...It just wobbles...

I wonder if that is what is giving me fits?

Sounds like you have a defective diff half?? .. has it been jack`d up since you go the Cuda?? I would look into getting another diff half..!! I`m sure that thats aboutv99.99% of your problem
