I got my paint scheme figured out already, let me know what you have in mind for paint scheme and maybe we can work something out to have the same scheme.

All of the set up i have seen here are mostly for asphalt. Is anyone running Carpet with rubber tires. I am close to getting a set up. But Need to go out and play next week. Need a few more parts before i am happy. To much toe in so far. I am ordering those Tit pivot balls that say they adjust toe in.

2fast Racing. KC, MO. (Where the High end Needle on this thing?)

Also did i see that some of you are running like a 28/72 pinnion/spur combo. On stock. WOW. I am running a 18/72. With a Monster Stock mill. I am planning on running it this next week to see how the Sways and Springs help. Pal-equipted. i will try to get some pics. My camera takes to darn large photos.

your gearing seems very odd, you run on a snooker table? I run 24 or 25 with a 74spur indoors in a hall about the size of a basket ball court, running 12+ second lap times. I'm using a Matrix V10R stock motor which pulls the same if not more revs than a monster stock.

Basket ball court. LOL that would be huge. Our lap times are in the 8 sec zone. Track might be 80 x 36 at best. If you gear any higher your lap times slow down. Tight and small. about 5-7 foot lanes at best. straright might be 10. I went with a 20 pinnion and it was a dog out of corners. And never got toped out on straight.

Its is closer to the size of a card table. LOL

Man I wish we had that much room. I will look up the site for the track and post it hold on. LOL

5-7foot lanes you better be a precise driver you should be running micros in there our lanes are as close to 10 as we can get for the track layout, more like 8 most of the time. We get about four lanes width and the straight is normally a sweeper onto the full length of hall, which helps with top speed.

Hi Guys,

5-7 food lanes would be a luxury at SoCal where we race on Tuesday nights. Certain section of the track on Tuesday were no more than 3-4 feet wide! Which is why I consider SoCal a good place to learn side by side, close racing!

We occasionaly get the odd corner thats close to 4 foot wide but it's usually a hairpin where people aren't likely to be side by side. The problem we have with side by side racing is that on a wooden floor there is very little grip to play with, one gentle tap even on a straight can cause a lot of problems for both cars, I only trust a couple of drivers to run door to door at my club and they aren't always the fastest drivers, even then you have to be very forgiving in giving other cars space, very difficult to just nip inside at a corner even when you're a second or so a lap quicker.
