Default Xray | 302042 | LOWER SUSPENSION HOLDER | HELP

Hi all, I have the above parts and i want to use them with my xray t1... I am having a little trouble figuring out the significance of the numbers on them though...
the packaging has no instructions and i have not seen any setup sheets speaking to their use...

Can someone explain them to me or direct me to some literature that gives a good outline...

Thanks
Alien

I'm guessing but I'd say they numbers reflect some sort of toe change. (I think)

I was guessing this at first... but the pairs when places side by side dose not suggest that... If I place a pair #4s for example together, the pin holes faces opposite directions...

I was hoping for something a little more specific to the holders... I have been through those documents... nothing speaking to the significance of the numbers...

thanks

Just a guess, but did they integrate the "toe shim" into the holders? The pcs seem to be of differing thickness. Perhaps they are used to make wheel track adjustments? The pcs should be opposite....one for the front of the arm and one for the back of the arm.

I would think that is proper.

They are described as integrated lower rollcenter holders, I think the intergrated is so you don't have to mess with the small plastic shims that they used, less potential of falling out with this setup. But I dont see how the bushing fits in theose units.

Hi Guys... they are mentioned in the setup books as rollcenter holders, but how the heck are they fitted symmetrically?... I also believed that the 'Toe' feature is built in, but installation does not make a whole lot of sense... see the below photo...

I would think it would be made so that a #5 holder is fitted on the left rear and another on the right rear...

Doesn't Xray still offer their forums to ask questions. I would go there to ask. The moderators should know.

go and have a look at the t1 mini instructions

these blocks fit in number order eg from front to rear, so 1, 2 are fitted to the front of the front arms, 3 ,4 rear front arms , 5 ,6 front of rear arms and 7 ,8 rear of rear arms
hope this helps

Yes, Yes, yes!... I just had a look at the suspension assembly in the Mini's book... it's making sense now... wow... see!! this forum always produces answers...
thanks a lot guys... i'll make some tests tonight and post my findings... see bellow sequence for the suspension mounted on the inside of the bulks... I should be
able to work out the sequence now for mounting them on the outside...

Lower Rear Suspension Holders (some Toe is built in with combination)
Right front: Holder 4 (wide)
Left front: Holder 5 (wide)
Right rear: Holder 6 (narrow)
Left rear: Holder 7 (narrow)

Lower Front Suspension Holders (no Toe built in)
Right rear: Holder 3
Left front: Holder 3
Right front: Holder 2
Left rear: Holder 2

Oh... i found the bellow while searching on google... no explanation on setup, but the rear shot clearly illustrates how the holders influence 'Toe'...
