the integy x-mod lathe sp is a real lathe its not the best but its good for a begginer like myself

My advice: Try to save up some more cash it's going to be difficult to buy a lathe for that amount. You can get a Synthetic diamond bit from McMaster for about $51, You may find a used Cobra lathe for a decent price $45.-$50, if you are lucky it may come with the motor, and even a battery. But those are easy to come by, Iím sure you have and old pack that you can turn into a 4 cell, and an old stock motor to mount to it. Or you can just buy a 55t lathe motor from Integy and run it from your 12v power supply; this will run you about $19.95. You may get lucky and find one with all that you need but itís not going to be for the $80 you want to spend. Good Luck!
