Default ReVtech Brushless Motors

I dont know much about these, but considering their history in RC, I expect it to perform very well.

ReVtech is an old name making a come back for EPIC. ReVtech is going to be the high performance racing division of Epic (or so I think). The motors are new along with new batteries (Not IB Batteries).

May be they'll be good or maybe they won't but Trinity/Epic is just trying to capitalize on the name.

They guy that started Revtech went to Dremel a long time ago.

Neil McCurdy "closed" Rev Tech to go to work for Ernie (EPIC/Trinity) He worked there with Jim Dieter for a few years. I didn't know he went to Dremel though.

Pretty much every cordless Dremel out there Neal is the one that designed them.

How soon before Ernie resurrects the Twister, Race Prep and Point Blank names on his motor lines?

Cheesy. Typical of Trinity.

Probably nothing more than simple repackaging of an already known product.

I'm pretty sure 2 of those 3 companies used a different base motor than what Trinity imported during their prime time, so they probably never had any type of contractual association. Revtec on the other hand, worked for Ernie at one time so perhaps it goes deeper than just bringing up a old name.

Were the old brushed Yokomo cans differrent than the Epic? As far as Twister goes I would love to see a new product with that label on it. Cheesy maybe. I am certainly guilty of nostalgia with the idea of that chrome wrapper with twister stamped all over it in red letters. I would only hope that there actually is a good product under the marketing finesse. Same is true with the ReVtech. If its really a good motor, then I am all about it.

All the race prep motors I ever saw were either top based or some other base. Maybe they did a Yoke somewhere along the line but I don't recall seeing one.

How about a Cam or East Coast motor?
