Questions?? What's Better

I'm currently looking for a new chassis for my step son and have had a few different offers.

I just don't know what the better choice is.

I've been offered the following chassis:

1] HSP Flying Fish
2] HPI Sprint 2
3] Schumacher Mi2
4] Xray T2 007
What should I go for?

I would scratch the flying fish off. It looks like it will be hard to get parts for. I had a sprint 2 and it was a good car. HPI has lots of parts avalible. The Schumacher is a great car but there are very few shops that carry the replacement parts.

The Flying fish is more a toy. It was my 1st car.
The rest are sort of old ??

T2007 is good , but could have had a hard life. I had one. Replacing worn parts can get expensive. Same with the Schumacher
I had lots of issues with 007 belts. 008 is much better.

Why not a new, TB03, TA05, Xray T3R, Schumacher miOne
Also, TA Tc4, Ofna JL10e , both fairly cheap new.

It all depends on your budget

I would be all over the Schumacher Mi1 , they recently re-released this chassis as an entry level car. As for parts availability for Schumacher, they don't have a US distributer anymore but I was talking to a guy at the track last week that ordered tires from them direct from the UK and he received them 2 days later in Canada, no shipping I am assuming they passed the order onto Galaxy Hobbies in Ontario though but still thats a fast deliver.

HPI Sprint2 would be my second choice, parts are easy to get, the car is very durable and the price for an RTR is pretty much unbeatable.

X-Ray's are amazing, parts are expensive and they update their chassis' constantly so a 007 is really a pretty dated car for them.

Post Step Son Stuffed up

Hi All,
just wanted to give you all an update.

I was planning to purchase a third chassis for my step son, but will not be now.
Turns out that he has broken his bail conditions and will be spending some time in a small concrete room lol. For this reason, I will no longer be requiring a third chassis.

I am still interested to know what the best chassis would be for drifting, [I already have an exceed and a Yokomo] as I may be interested in purchasing a third chassis in the future.

@ Fordy, PM sent to you mate. CHEERS
