Pretty sure these threads come up every few weeks, but for the record, I run a Savox SC1251MG and love it, perfect servo for touring car racing imo.

it's true.. i actually have a Savox 1251mg and a futaba s9551.. both are ideal and both are great and both are talked about all the time.... Savox is cheaper.. has longer lead wires.. and the futaba seems a little more fluid.. that is all...

I have always used a futaba 9551, i say get that, price isnt to bad for what it is, and its low profile which can help in car like the tamiya so you can get more electronics to the chassis.

I am using a Spektrum S6070 also known as the Savox SC1251 MG in my Touring Car. Great servo, very fast and it is noisy which I like because I always know when my car is on

I just got a Futaba S9551 for my TC4 and couldn't be happier. It's fast, quiet, and smoooooth as butter!

BLS551. Seems to center better than the S9551.

PDS-2413 ICS LP Digital Servo If you have the budget this is the best return to center, smallest foot print servo I have run into.

For me i use Savox SC-1251MG. The low profile servos are great to save amount of space.

+1 on the SC-1251MG. I did have to install a capacitor to help with the current draw.

+4 on the Savox SC1251 MG. Great servo ,great price, works and looks great. Buy one and get the free t-shirt. Keep your eyes open for promos too. I got my second one for $42 bucks on a trade in program. Sent them an old HPI servo and saved 20 bucks !

Currently running an old KO 2123, full sized which means you need a clean install but its a monster of a servo. 0.06s, beat that!

Gonna be trying a Sanwa sdx-801 soon though, this thing looks the dog danglies.
