Tweak a pro 10 yes, but break one? Gonna be quite difficult I would guess. I have a 1/12 kawada m300rsr going up against 1/10 nitros, and it's gone thruogh quite abit, the most damage goes to the bodyshell

The 10L2 isn't very fragile - the only thing we break around here is T-Bars, and Colin C and myself abuse test them on a constant basis!
Good to hear that boomer. Glad that I stocked up a couple of spare T-bars

Mark, I have emailed the socal shop and they said they only ship locally. Think stormer will be the best bet for us living outside US.

Default mPowered Racing Chassis Setup Guide

Rough512 and Boomer:

I am happy to offer you an upgrade to version 3.0. You can purchase an upgrade to the book for $13 USD, which is a $7 USD discount. This upgrade comes in the form of a physical book instead of a PDF download. Just send an email to [email protected]. Include your name and address please. The shipping cost will be $6 USD. I will bill your credit card that I have on file.

Boomer : if the one you purchased 3 weeks ago is version 3.0 co-branded with XXXMAIN then no it is not different. If it was a PDF download then it is different.

0Gravity. : Thanks for the order.

alvin:

yes i ahve seen them break b4 ... expecially when u clip a turn on ur rear tires the t bar and the whole rear end comes out .......

i personally broke 2 t bars in 1 day of running on my friends pro 10 .....
its not set up well i guess....... too much understear and when i do too near a apex of a turn ..... the rear just flies out ...... looked like a slight touch . but the extend of damage does not look like its a slight touch .... thats why i say they r VERY frigile

mmm maybe the motor was too hot a wind?

Last night quite amusing. I was watching my frien'ds RC10L2 engaged by several 1/10 nitros. The nitros (as usual) had no eyes, went THROUGH my friend's ride. The 10l2 flew, bounced a few times atop the nitro cars , and landed on all 4 tires, and continued to give chase. lol.

hey, the nitros at one of our local tracks are just like that. Got hit once by Nitro. My 414 flew about 4 feet away. Do you think a rear bumper with really sharp spikes would affect handling too much?

Now that's an idea! How about mounting a TA02 Rally Bumper in the rear

IMPACTPLAYR:

Do you race at "the track" in maryland? I have race there a coupel of times...nice track.

I am not sure what method of shipment Pro Racer Secrets is using, but if it is AIR mail, I was told by our postal service that it will be less than 3 weeks. I believe on average it takes about 2 weeks.

cya,

Martin

Your gearing sounds fine - we were running 10x2's at Vegas last year running 84/13 or 14 so you're geared just a bit higher than we were but you're on a smaller motor - I think you should be good.

Isn't that much motor FUN!!!!?

they still make them out of fiberglass - so they flex - which graphite doesn't do so much. . .

At Vegas I broke three T-Bars before I finished a SINGLE LAP!!!
