Default BELTS - TOUGH RACING

Hi guys,

I wanted to know if anyone tried the brand 'Tough Racing'... they are producers of belts which replaces OEM belts... In this case,
I am looking for alternatives for my xray T1... i found this one on ebay... Front kevlar contained belt 305431

You opinions and experiences will be appreciated...

I werent impressed with the one I tried in my Xray 007. But that car was hard on belts for some reason, went through alot.
But other guys seemed to think they were OK when I asked here about a year ago.

So cheap I'd try one again . But no longer have a car with so many belt issues in general.

Oh, what sort of issues did you find with the product? did it wear prematurely... or did it just suddenly break? do you have an idea of the duration it lasted?
and where can I find the comments you received on it?

Thanks for the quick reply

I bought 2 rear belts from them for my Xray T2 and have yet to use them.... if I ever end up swapping one in I'll let you know.

I have been using them in my nitro car, they hold up well. Get easy 5 meets out of them before they need swapping, very efficent and smooth belts, and can't beat the price!

They are made in Korea, I met the guy that makes them.

I ran them in Mod sedan last year in my Tamiya 416x. They hold up the same as the Stock Tamiya belts.

Wow... nice, can you put numbers to that... like the actual duration or the amount runs you got from the belt?

Longevity wise, they would last at least 5-6 race days, and thats with at least 8 runs per day. For $4, you cant beat the price.
