hi, im asking on behalf of a friend who just got into EP Touring cars. He's looking for a budget type ESC, to be used with stock 23T motor. I play gas cars, so i dont know much hope u guys can help.
Need you opinions on which is better?
1) LRP IPC Sport 14T
2) GM V4 14T
3) Nosram International 13T
4) M.troniks S4-Tempo 11T

I have been using a GM V4R (reversing) for a few years, and I've been happy with it. My current motor is a 15T, and the ESC handles it perfectly without ever getting hot. It's also a fairly small and light ESC, so I would recommend it.
It isn't ideal for endurance racing with pitstops, though. Instead of a setup button, it uses an automatic setup every time you switch it on. It works, and it only takes about a second, but that's still very annoying during a pitstop, when your adrenaline level is high.
Make sure you don't get an old version, as these had some problems. The newer versions have an on/off switch, the older ones didn't.
I have no experience with the other brands, sorry.

Don't get the cheap one co'z for sure it will just give you a headache but if your not into hardcore racing then get the cheap one but if you really want to get the best one and can also be use in racing I suggest get the LRP IPC sport.. I usually use the novak esc.. sorry I don't have any idea on the other esc that you have on the list...

thanks guys for the info. my buddy was leaning towards the LRP IPC Sport as well just because its a more "trusted" brand.
came across another esc which is of similar price as well, JR SC-1. what do you guy think about it?
