As an alternative to the hard to find Losi LCDs, the steel universals for the Nitro TC3 work. I'm running them after trashing a set of the stock composite drives using a spool. No issues to report with the TC3 units.

Are the NTC3 ones the same lengths? Do they have more throw than the TC4 ones?

Same length, no fitment issues or modding necessary.

I am stiffening the car with each run. The car is responding to changes predictably, and I am getting closer to finding how it wants to run and driving it properly. Tomorrow is the first day of qualifying, so no more sandbagging.

Good to know! do these use M4 lockouts like current TC's or the same lockouts that come with TC4?

I ran my TC4 twice on carpet in VTA class and same there...the stiffer and lower the car got the faster the lap times. I think at the end I was on all out thickest sway bars front and rear with very hard springs front and back (do not remember the colors unfortunate but they were hard)

Found a blow up diagram for TC4 club and on that the part number for the castor block matches with the -0- degree part

Stiffer = more traction roll..... The best is soft with the lowest roll Center and 1mm or less droop, 190mm track width, and the most power/speed possible(taller gearing than belt cars)....

I really only use my droop screws to control the stiffeness of my Car...

I see the dc4 le running a 25/5:01 pace while the pros are around 29 laps.... Evan, you can make up at least three laps on them by not crashing at all...

One second Off is not that bad when considering that the Car is missing:
1) lcd losa3344 drives
2) ceramic Bearings or unshielded Bearings
3) gearing too low(motor getting too hot)... Get a vulcan 17.5
4) old esc, no Xdrive, no current tuning
5) no aluminum IRS diff outdrives or front spool
6) battery brand unknown or proven(not thunderpower)
7) Tires not lightened
8) pinion and spur gears not hirosaka
9) input shafts not aluminum
10) no glitch capacitor on the receiver
11) track width probably not 190mm
12) rear toe probably not 2 degrees
13) roll Center probably not the lowest
14) driveshaft probably not carbon fiber
15) Car body, chassis, wheels not waxed
16) too many crashes, mishaps, etc.....
All in all the dc4 le has serious potential.....
