Default worthrottle....

the drivetrain comes very free out of the box. No need to do anything other than maybe blow the grease out of the drivertrain bearings. Or get a good set of ceramic bearings if you got to have the best. One thing, don't blow out the grease in the wheel bearings, they are a quick wearing item. Also don't use motor spray on the wheel bearings. Your better off just using a brush to wipe the dirt or carpet debris off. They will last longer.

I've always ran TRCs (Plaids and Purples). The batch I had binded horribly on the knuckle. Had to cut it down to about 27mm.

Tried Jaco tonight - worked much better. Just a little binding and once a grove was worn in on the knuckles, everything ran well. I agree with fastasu2 - its deffinitely the offset molded into the wheels that makes the difference, with each manufacturer being different.

But really, this wouldn't be a problem if AE had done their homework. No one makes a carpet foam less than 28mm anymore. They worked fine on the TC3. The knuckle geometry should have stayed the same, regardless of the additional mounting hole.

Great for carpet.
My LHS doesn't stock GQ tires, but I've seen their print ads and have thought about getting some. Is there an online store that carries them? Also, which ones do you think would be best running on grey ozite?

Default Dave how do you like the 3Racing....

shaft imput holder? Is it worth $30 bucks?

I emailed 3 Racing for a product request. Stupid they make titanium shock bushings, but no steering bushings or droop screws. Not sure why you whould want shock bushings.
Anybody interested email them, she said she would bring it up at the next staff meeting. www.3racing.com under contact us.

Default Also, I highly recommend the...

new Losi JRX-S shocks. They are a work of art and they are a direct fit. I'm very happy camper and a breath of fresh air compared to the stock ones.

Actually, they do make titanium steering bushings, the Ti. shock bushings are nice and strong, and you can just use stainless steel droop screws (I don't know why you wouldn't just use stock). They also have alot of great options for the TC4, including carbon fiber shock towers, battery brace, chassis braces, and many other nice options (including carbon fiber shims for uder your hinge pin mounts.

The correct site is

www.3racing.com.hk

Default TC4 or JRX-S

So all you TC4 guys....which one of these cars would you recommend to me to buy....a TC4 or JRX-S? I have a factory team tc3 right now with most of the general things people do to them to make them freer and run better. I am probably going to get the JRX-S unless someone can talk me out of it!

Default Personally I would wait until the...

FT version comes out and see what improvements were made for carpet. Losi seems to support their car more, so it's a tough choice.
