Default PaulTC4...

I don't have any problems running my antenna through the stock graphite chassis. Are you having problems with glitches? I had some issues some time back, but it was speedo/receiver placement. I moved my speedo away from my receiver/servo and now I don't have any problems. If you have glitching, most likely it is something else. Try three layers of servo tape on your receiver or speedo. Try servo tape under your servo or move the power cap around. Maybe try some chassis protector on the sides of your chassis where the battery bars touch. Just a thought, but the antenna should not be a problem.

Why not..?? The Quare Spur gear adaptor.. puts the spur gear in the same location as the stock one...

Default Well...I just figured maybe it was spur gear adaptor...

I didn't get a chance to check the stock one. Dave if you say it's the same then it's not the gear adaptor. Maybe it's the blue motor clamp. It may not the same as the black one.

Default wife broke the D-camera....

but basically there's not enough room for the upper plate edge to fit in between the motor clamp and spur gear. If you look at it, there's not much room at all. The spacers/risers won't put it over the top of the motor clamp fins.

because it's nice, but it needs to work with the parts. I think not enough R&D.

...... ... Let me see if I can find a pic of the BMI top deck for the Tub chassis and maybe I can see where things might have gone wrong.... but untill that time have you tried to use the stock input shaft and spur gear adaptor and then tried to put the BMI top deck on??

if you run the top deck you will need to dremel a laittle bit of the first fin in order for it to fit.there is no possible way to snake it between the spur gear and the motor mount.i tried raising it but it stood to high and the screws wanted to bend.i spent alot of time on this and this was the only way i could make it functional.unfortunately the car is not made to run a top deck on the tub.if you lightly grind maybe 1/8 inch off the end of inside fin you should be good.

You can replace the bearings with ceramics, though I wouldn't suggest replacing the wheel hub bearings if you have a tendency to hit things. I replaced so many hub bearings its not funny, so I'd say stay with cheap for the hub bearings and replace the diff and input shaft bearings with ceramics.

Boca and Acer sell ceramics, I believe they are around $8 USD each.
