Let me just say this...............................

The other night Sean(our motor man)hit a board sticking out on the track then he hit the wall(darn hard I must say)it would have broken any car out there......

He put his car back together before the first round....then checked the ride height...no change...then he put it on the tweek board....guess what...no change, still straight....put it on the track and guess what...still drove perfect...

So all in all, tweek problems gone....

Thats for everyone that thinks there will be a tweek problem...

Default That's great news but...

Barry I think you should mail me a TC4 so that I can verify.

I can't wait to get my TC4. Sounds like mid to late Oct. I hope sooner followed by the carbon kit.

Barry what's with the new Team Factory oneway? Is it more like the Nitro oneway. Stronger?

Does anyone use a oneway on capet?

Kilruff-------on the camber link issue.....if you raise it , it lowers the roll center making the rear softer...which will usually give more goin in but less comin out....

If you lenghten it , it will give less camber change so rear may lose traction easier...

Night...yes the factory team is the HD one-way....and I dont use it on carpet , most guys dont...it gives way too much steering...

Barry, Tony, Mike, what do I have to do to get a TC4 before Cleveland?

Car looks good, can't wait to run it. Fear not, I'll make sure AE has the F Main all locked up... haha

This business about carbon replacement flat chassis.

In my many years experience with RC cars - almost all brands, I have come to one definate conclusion. If you want less chassis tweek there is no substitute for a tub chassis.

I'm not saying some of them haven't had a tendency to tweek, but they are certainly nothing like as bad as a flat bed chassis.

I ran a Yoke SSG last season - constant tweek problems as soon as you ride a banking hard or tap a board. I put a CGM chassis on, and now the car is always right. The same applies with TC3s, XXXS, etc.

AE have gone along the right path with a tub. Besides, how many real race cars do you see with flat bed chassis ?

Barry....loan him one!!! hahhahaha Only a matter of time before you have some sitting around....

Nightbreed: The FT Oneway unit has been around awhile. It uses larger, more stout bearings, and thicker input cups. Much stronger than the original.

I had trouble mounting my HD oneway into my TC3,
it seemed like the dogbones were to long or something, but I sold the cars, what could the problem have been

Barry: Awesome! I swear I'll start racing at SoCal soon. I know I've been saying that for three months now... but this time I mean it. We just moved to a new office (we're in Ontario now, right over by Horizon/Losi) and since I'm apparently the jack-of-all-trades I got the "fun" task of installing all the network and phone cable and jacks, and the servers, and on and on... but soon, soon, back to racing...

Tony: It couldn't be any worse than Steve's thread! It varies between a discussion of 70s music and medieval weaponry... haha
