If you are referring to the TC4 Factory Team it will be about sometime at the end of summer 2005 most likely.

the gearboxes and gears in the tc4 are exactly the same as those on the tc3 right? that would mean that i can still use my old tc3 one way on the tc4? sorry, this may sound like a stpid question but i just want to be extra sure.

The gears and the oneway are the same for the tc4... so your tc3 stuff will work..

JDM_DOHC_SiR is correct....all the of the TC3 drivetrain parts will work on the TC4. Only differences?? The input drive cups have been beefed up (for strength) and the center driveshaft is now thicker, as are the CVD's. Old stuff will work, but the new stuff is better!!!

Default Forgive my ignorance...

but what is a tube chassis. Do you mean a tunnel type chassis like the XXX-S?

I was thinking, I wonder why AE did not make their TC this way. The tunnel chassis is much stonger. Imagine a tunnel cover over the shaft. A few screws to remove the cover and the shaft is out. Plus I hate when the wire are on the shaft and it rubs a hole in my wires.

Any idea whether the screws are the same size (length) on the majority of the car?

Default Speedo...

I emailed AE and asked them the same question on screw kits for the TC3. I got a return email saying perhaps 75% of the screws from the TC3 would work on the TC4.
