Well. Maybe I update my TC4? hahah. This does in theory, make the TC4 viable as a touring car again.

I hadn't really thought that far. Sadly, mine is the carbon tub, and that drags in corners. That might need some finessing to get the clearances up. Belt sander time! To bad the TC4 club racer is no longer a thing.

current best upgrade

replace the tub. Took a while to dial it in, but it has breathed new life in an old car.

I was "kinda excited" about the Kaizen chassis when it first came out. But then there's something ilke the Ghost18 which gets you an aluminum and carbon carpet rig for what. $200? That starts to look pretty bad, unless you specifically need/want gear drive.

... Of course I bought the $190 TA07, and put $130 of chassis converstion kit on that...

With the proliferation of shaft driven buggies these past few years, perhaps someone will dare to revisit shaft drive in a top level competitive TC race chassis once again?

Awesomatix did with the a700. Then moved to belt with the a800.

I suppose itís possible. Probably need to be a smaller company willing to take a chance. But with the state that on road is in, at least in States, I doubt it.

Ive been on the fence on spending the money on this for my club racer tub car. He has deals on it during holidays and I almost ordered one.

Tamiya still do shaft cars. TB Evo 7 certainly looks the part.
