2011 ROAR Carpet Nationals at Timezone II March 24th-27th
We wanted to start the thread for the upcoming 2011 Carpet Nationals at Timezone II in La Center Washington, just 20 minutes from the Portland Oregon International Airport. We are currently working on the final entry form and submitting to Roar for approval. At the same time working on securing the Title, Class, and Associate Sponsors.
We are also in conversations with the manufactures regarding the spec tires for the event and hope to have decisions on that within the next 15 days or so.
We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to put this event on and have lots of cool upgrades planed for the building over the next couple months. Stay tuned....... and for additional information check our site at www.timezoneracing.com

Good Morning Guys.... We will have the hotel details up in the next day or two... we have two hotels 15 min from track we have used in previous events just trying to get the best rates we can. Best Western, Holiday Inn Express.
Yes I believe ROAR Memebreships can be purchased at the track, I know I have had to update my memebreship back at Omaha a couple years ago.

Fellas,
New to racing scene, just started this year. I know im lucky to have nationals so close to home. Vancouver used to be my college town.....(community). Portland has more bridges in its city limits than any other city in the nation. I also belive it has more brewerys inside its city limits than any other city. It's also know for its....Steaks, uhh, yea.
Anyway, I just thought Id let you know that it should be a great venue for this upcoming event. Im sure that there are a ton of locals, that will be attending. I thought adding some good places to eat would be neat. Its been a while since I lived there but Fatty Patty's for breakfast/lunch is good (huge portions). And Bella Italia, has great Italian Food. Both are in Vancouver, just across the bridge. Hopefully I can talk the wife into going. Should be a blast
