Stephen - I think you need a chassis to go along with those parts

Yea, it shows a carbon fiber brace that goes on top of the two pivot balls on the t-bar.... did jason make this kit so that i can crank down those alu spacers and take out the brace?

Hi Wayne,
In case Dave didn't tell you yet, the new car works great! I was experimenting with way too many things at once this weekend but I was impressed with the cornering speed difference of the BMI car. I'll settle into a base setup to race with this coming weekend and focus on more consistant driving. Thanks for all the help....I'll keep you posted.

Really good. I am gonna throw it down on the track again today and probably twice more this week.

I wanna try a 3 shock setup on it after talking to Exelby last night. Let me know if you have any shocks left and if I could buy any. I am using the standard plate setup now and even though it is good, I always wanna try something new.

I wanna get this thing figured out before Vegas. I hope that I can also get the FK '05 working good before Vegas, but the car is starting to tick me off so I am going back to the 12th scale 100% for a week or two.

By the way, the pink chassis is still 50/50 in the looks department. Half of the people that I show it to love it and the other half hate it. Funny stuff.

Later,

Tim

Stephen,
The aluminum spacers mount right on top of the t-plate pivots... no need for that funny looking piece!!

Rick,
I just got back from having burgers with Dave...lol... He said you were a lap and a half quicker with the conversion!! Not bad!!

Tim,
If you need shocks let me know!! I have 40 or so here TiCN coated shock shaft and machined piston

Stephen,
The spacers will vary depending on what t-bar you use. Set the spacer thickness so the lower pod plate and bottom of the chassis are even. With a .075ish t-bar approx. .064" (2 #4 washers) in spacing is needed.

Ran the car a bunch the past couple of days. All I can say is wow. I need to slap a thinner t-bar on the car to continue to run at 'ScrewZ because of the bumpy track conditions. I have a .078" bar on right now and the car is jumpy.

With the dampener plate setup, what plate springs work best for what track conditions. I have the full lineup of wolfe springs to try, I just am too lazy right now to change them.

l8r,

Tim

Wayne,

I use the L4 brace and it sits loosely between the arm mounts. Is it because I use the crc aluminum upper arm mounts and they are matched better?
