I spent the weekend with my Parent's and sister and all of our families. I needed to take a couple of weeks off to relax and spend time with the family and get caught up on the honey do's.

Just as it stands, the smallest rear tires i can go too is 46mm (before i drop below 4mm ride height) and to be honest they are still very useable !!

Other than this the car is great

Sorry if this has been asked earlier in the thread but i must have missed it

Thanks again

Rod
what do you mean by "true lowered"?

are the adjusters not cut out to be at least as low as IRS or CRC pod plates?

Fast-ho-cars:

Hi,

what he means is actual lowered side plates like the ones CRC and IRS makes. not just the ride height adjusters.

Protc3:

Jason,
I knew something musta been up...lol... I'm sure we're gonna see some smack from the other Florida boys now!! lol...

Fast-ho-cars,
The pod plates (ride hgt. adj.) are lowered inbetween the stock ones and other manufactures lowered ones. The motor has been lowered .025" lower then the stock pod plates. The overall height of the pod plates are .025" lower then the stock or other manufactures. Some guys are looking for the ride hgt. adj. portion to be a bit lower. I believe Jason is going to make some up. We tried to stay away from the problems too small of a tire causes and spur gear ground clearance issues.

i noticed that too...then i flexed the chassis from my 12L4 and then the BMI one no comparision the BMI is far more stiff(notice how they didnt make alot of holes in the chassis ...more holes=less ridgid)...to me that means that all the power that your 12L4 was soaking up is now being transfered to the ground making true pony power ...you can have the best of everything on your car but if the chassis and the tires arnt getting the power your at a loss...thats why i think the BMI chassis delivers the "goods"...im not just saying this i believe it

Hats off to the guys who designed/made the BMIL4

Ray,
Tuesday nights are bad for me. Tyler is on a traveling baseball team. I don't think I'll be able to make it for a while! Do you plan on going to BUD's to race the 14th?? Maybe some Medina offroad??

Nuckingfutz,
Thanks for the good words! I run as much stearing as I need to get around the track with going no less then 3/4 throttle (in stock). With a M8 radio I use 50% L & R epa and 100% dual rate. I also use full traction front and rear, lots of corner speed!!!

OK-then-send me your BMIL4 and I'll run it all summer since you cannot!!

btw-Congrats!!

Maybe offroad once or twice this summer. I still have my XXXT MF in the basement. NO BRP on the 14th-I'll be in China. A bit far to drive for a club race....

hey wayne, what would it take to make the bmil4 into a 6 cell chassis? I know its a big deal, but just looked at the US pan Car champs and they are running 4 and 6 cells together. i think at 4 cells, I would be a little out powered.

I may bail on this race just for that reason. It would be no fun to go to a race you have not chance at.
