i was thinking of putting my reciever up front but figured a 25.00 servo would be cheaper to replace instead of my reciever but i like the layout of yours as well i might have to try that..im still new to 1/12th but progressing everyday

pink rear tires
purple fronts

olive center spring on shock and 30 wt. oil in the shock
.075 T plate
1000 wt. oil in dampening washers(1/8th scale diff oil)
5mm ride height in rear of chassis
4.5mm ride height in front of chassis
5mm pod ride height and make sure the pod is level with you ride height gauge.set the shock collar to just touch the spring on your shock at full extension and set your pod level by adjusting the ball cups on the shock.this is very critical.do not crank down on spring or you will lose your droop setting.
10 degree castor in front(5 deg,or 0 deg. if you find it too aggresive)
1 degree camber up front
servo on angled mount
speed 8 body(parma)

let me know how it goes.i run this set up on asphalt in 19 turn.

Thanks Jason, Ill give this a shot.

Wayne, I got a a new servo today (Just in case), I verified my droop and I definately have enough of it. ill try the tips you guys suggested and let you know the outcome after sunday

Till later

putting the rx on the front will look really stupid with all the wires hook up. i thought about that before.

Jason - Could you give us a listing of how much each piece in the conversion would cost? Chassis brace, lower pod plate, upper pod plate. I'd like to order some spares.

Thanks.

the bmil4 was the fastest on the track. too bad I did not have the new 3700 or 3800 to make runtime. Seams i am not good enough to make 8 min with a 10x1. so i could only put the car in 3rd. got beat by 3700gps.

JJ,

you should have run today. was a lot of fun. lap traffic was not too bad today. he stay out of most people's way. He actually got in with Tim and I actually put Tim a lap down until I dumped in the first qual. I laped him 6 min in on a 40 8:06 pace. I was hoping that you would bring your high cap batts so that I could use them

Ran the BMIL4 today and the thing is soo much faster then my 12l4. the car was nimble out of the corners. Had to turn the steering travel down to 50 and speed down to 70% just to keep from doing donuts on the 180s.
