Default a few Q's

1. who has the gold screw kits?

2. is this kit for sale....? went to website and saw no mention of this car in PRODUCTS section.

3. will this kit be vailable in other colors....red, gold, etc? like the XRAY, TC3 kits

4. what is the thickness? is the kit more for carpet than asphalt?

5. can one request a thinner thickness and maybe no servo holes drilled when ordering?

thanks

Hi,

Gold screws............ I think sg1 has them. try pming him about them.

yes the kit is for sale. right now we are taking care of all the preorders first this is a limited production item. we are hoping to step up production soon.

colors....... at this time we have satin black and a little Ti in for the 1 1/2th scale car.

thickness is 2.5mm. it should be great for both.(I don't run any R/C during the summer as we race karts instead) it works great on carpet.

at this time no special orders for thickness or programing changes.

any more Questions please call Jason at B.M.I.'s phone munber listed on the web site.

Thanks

Hey Tim...
Just to let everyone know, the gold screws were a mistake. They were not supposed to be gold, they were supposed to be hard anodized. All of the gold screws are now gone, sent the last bit of them out last week. The conversion comes with stainless fastners. If there is a high demand, I'm sure I could get more fasteners done in gold.

I'm waiting for your call Tim

Wayne

sg1:

Hi,

Thanks for answering Jrxs Bill's question. and also about the gold fasteners. I wasn't sure how many you had left.

Sorry about not calling. Pat is really sick again so I haven't been sleeping or doing anything until she gets better. I have also been keeping the phone line clear just in case. I will call later on Tuesday when things settle down.

Thanks

You guys are using the rear body posts on the front for the BMI conversion? I've noticed my L3 front posts don't work.

Hey Tim...
No problem, I'll be waiting

John,
Yes, use the smaller body mounts on the front.

Is this a conversion for either the 12L4 and 12L3? I have both.

Thanks.

Bill - But BMI L4 has a much nicer ring to it then BMI L3.

I'm still waiting for my servo to arrive. It better come by wednesday.

Wayne - There is something about the kit that imo could be a little better. Shaving the top of the pod plates. If I try and drop my parma speed 8 really low it will rub the top deck. Do you know a body that I can really slam?

Don't get me wrong, I can definately run the body alot lower then on my L4. But they just look SO cool when you can really get the car slammed to the carpet.

Roger T...
I'll talk to Jason and find out today... The graphite ones I used conducted electricity very well lol... I'll see if Jason got the material in for them yet. Sorry for the delay!

Fatdoggy...
If you run the body so it just touches the top pod plate you're gonna be at the correct roar hgt. Try playing with the rear body hgt. I run mine up 1/8" higher on some tracks and move the body back 3/16" too
