Thanks for the update Jason. I can't wait to run some 1/12th scale again. I tore apart my 12L4 last month and am just waiting for some pretty parts to show up. 2 state champs races within 2 weeks from now. Maybe I could hit one of the races with the new car. One is official(kinda) and the other is the michigan cheap champs.

Talk to ya later bud,

Tim

Soviet..
The conversion has both top plates, so you can put on iether one... You'll need to slide your t-plate in, the L3 front suspension will fit on, the diff will go right in, and trim the ball ends on the shock a bit (needs to be shorter) and it will snap on... Hope this helps.

The car still looks good! Is it from the production run? Why all the extra holes in the front half of the chassis?
Does it use a standard issue t-plate? Thanks,Jay.

Jay..
Those pics were of the production conversion kit. The extra holes in the chassis in front of the t-plate are for antenna mount position and if you want to play around with a longer shock you can put an aluminum standoff there with a ball stud on top and try it out. The extra hole in between the front suspension arms are for a personal transponder and there is a small hole for the centerline of the chassis to tweek and balance the cars side to side weight. There are also 2 sets of servo mount holes. The stock position for angled mounts, and a set moved forward to mount the servo flat using the ears off the bottom of the case and then putting the ballstuds on the backside of the sevo saver. It takes a standard Associated t-plate.
