John...
I've only run Futaba... so I really couldn't say about other manufactures... but I can say the Hitec didn't work in my 1/18 iether...lol !!!!

Windsorguy99....
I haven't heard from Jason in a week... must be on vacation again...lol... Last I heard he was home sick

Xray...
Airtonics servo with those ratings should be good!! Make sure the case has the optional foot mount off the bottom of the servo!!

Wayne:

Hi,

The Airtronics servo is great for 1 1/2th scale. I've got two of them.
Jason and family are still sick. hoping they get better soon

Windsorguy99:

Hi,

I do know that Jason has gotten in all the alumium stock in. not sure when he will get to cut though. no time frame was givien

John F.:

Hi,

you should look at the new KO 949 or 947 ICS servos. both digtail, fast and fully adjustable with the handheld unit. something to think about

Thanks

Thumbs up

I like the Airtonics servo also, 94145. My son and I both run them and have no problems.

I can't be quiet any longer, I'm busting with renewed enthusiasm. Not often I get real excited about a new car, they all seem to be a revision of some sort, but after only two weeks with this car I gotta say is it's AWESOME!!!
I was little concerned after the first day, just didn't have the steering I wanted on our track . But after last weekend .... no problem . I was able to take car from a little push, to loose and back with some small changes. And, yes, right in the middle . The chassis is very responsive, and easy to tune. It's easy to drive, doesn't do anything erractic or I guess I should say VERY consistant. Able to nail the lines in every corner lap after lap.
I still have some things I want to try, but if it's this good after only two weeks, I can't wait to see how much better it's going to get!!!!

Now, Jason, get some kits done!!!!! People are going to love this car!!!!

The hardest thing for me now is keeping my son from talking me out of the car. NOT gonna happen!!! He can wait
take care
john

What's John doing with a car???? lol Glad it's working out so far... I think you hit it on the head with the car doesn't do anything crazy and is very consistant... On low bite or high bite it stays the whole race... It's just the matter of setting it to your driving style!!

You know. For those that don't, I got the car that is pictured on page 14. I was the lucky one who saw the post that it was available. Pure luck.
So who lives close to Jason? Maybe could all meet there and work weekends to help get the parts done!!! lol

I'm sick of waiting, I'm going to buy a used 12th until my bmi arrives. Hopefully I'll be able to drive again(when my bmi arrives) after 4+ months of not driving.

Fatdoggy - It could be worse.. My sistuation is that I sent MY 1/12th car to Jason, so even though I own a 1/12th, I still can not race it. That's a double wammy....but I believe it is worth the wait.

'm having a great time with my Xray so if I only raced 1/12th then it would really suck.

man, this thread started on 9/1/04 and 19 pages later.....

It was a tough decision to not wait on the BMI car and went with MS2.2, but hopefully we'll see the BMI car some day...

At least the TC4 is making progress.....several versions of the prototype chassis as well as top plates for the Associated tub....

I'd be bummed if I didn't have a TC4 as well...I could very easily se myself with one of those TC4 kits...

maybe even have it before the 12th scale
