Wayne: A mere 18 inches of snow in my yard, LOL!! Cold and slippery but otherwise survivable.

Still looking into the Nats. I'm exceptionally poor. so if funding allows I'll be there. I wonder if they need an announcer?

I am about to ask a dumb question (I think). With the new L4 BMI conversion will I be able to convert a L3 to this conversion? The reason why I am asking is that i am new to 1/12th scale and I just picked up a L3 NIB dirt cheap and I was wanting to do (hopefully) this conversion on it. I have a BMI 350 Chassis kit on my Xray T1R-FK and absolutly love it, it made a huge difference in the responsiveness of it. So can it be done and is it going to be the $135.00 for the complete conversion?

Also what servo would be the best choice for a 1/12th scale?

Thanks for your input

XrayRacer...
The L3 componants will work with this conversion... The new or old style front Assoc. suspension will bolt on.. The T-bar will slide right in.. The shock will fit on (may have to shorten ball cups)... and axle will slip in..

I use a Futaba s9602 servo... It's just personal preference...

The $135.00 will be for the conversion... Chassis, brace, 2 top pod plates, lower pod plate, pod plates, dampening tube, standoffs, battery stops, 2pr. dampening springs, and misc. hardware.

sounds like all that is needed to put a car together would be the front end, center spring axle and maybe servo mount.
