I could be wrong, but I don't think Jason had any options in the 2.5mm graphite color. I believe he has all the graphite and it is a black finish. I'd like to be able to provide all the screw is stainless, and have the ball studs sold seperately anodized the same color as the parts in the conversion kit. We are also looking at having the center shock sold individually and having it hard anodized and teflon coated.

Just saw you post Wayne. If he is going with black carbon fiber then gold, green, and silver would be good options. Blue is nice but you need something to make the chassis stand out from the crowd so people will stop by and ask what chassis your running. With blue it would still look like an AE car from a distance.

I like the green idea. That seems very unique and eye catching. As long is it is a good eye catcher and not an eye sore.

Keep us posted and definately drop a picture or two on this thread when you build it out with the new colors.

If it looks ok I'm voting for green.

It will be about 7 to 10 days before I get the samples... I'm partial to the green, if it's bright. I agree about the blue, it would look like an AE car.

Black carbon fiber, bright green parts, bright green ball studs, bright green center shock. That definately sounds unique and should get people asking what it is.

Lets hope it looks as good as it sounds.

Here is the color I'm invisioning

That green looks great!!!! That would stand out for sure.... Underdahill, the center shock would be a grayish color... like the off road or touring car shocks that car hard coated and teflon impregnated.

I think all the aluminum would look killer hard anodized...

BTW, wasn't Cyrul thinking about making his car green?

Finally got a minute to go find this picture. This is the gold I remember. I though it added a very classy touch. Of course on a 12th scale it would be a lot more with the rear pod.

Just keep bugging him to get this project rolling!!!

Heck, I'm not picky on color. Plain silver alum. is fine, if it helps get the kit out quicker

take care
