That was a great race, I woulda loved to be on the side lines watching to see what happened the last lap. All I heard was the croud yelling and I didn't realize the race was over!! Is there a video of the race somewhere?? Glad you like the kingpins and shock shaft

Wayne

Congrats Wayne! That was an awesome race!!

I am ready to see the video too... parts of the race keep playing through my mind, but I would like to see what it looked like from the straightaway.

In the heat of the battle with Jeff, I didn't even see you coming until it was too late.

Nashrcracer (Rob Dirla) has the video. He mentioned that he may not have the very end of the race because his memory card ran out... so we'll have to wait and see. He should be posting on his website www.rc50.com soon.

I didn't even know the race was over due to the crowd roar!!

Thanks Brian!!
When you and Dayger were ahead of me I didn't want to try anything and cause a big pile up. But then i hit a wall and dropped back a turn with about a minute to go. I saw Dayger making his car wider trying to hold you off and I was able to sneek back up. I didn't see what happened between you two, just that I made it threw and we went down the straight away!! That was the best finish I never saw!! Good racing, Cleveland should be fun!!

Hey Rog..
I never run the roll limiters. I've got to get ahold of Jason tonight, talked a few seconds to him last night, but dinner was calling him!!

Default HELP!!!!!

lol. Running on new ozite carpet.Im running .22 front springs with the 10*steering mounts in front.1 washer in front,1 rear.30 wt,olive spring.Ride height is 3mm all around, the pod is level with the chassis,no droop when loaded with batts. The orange post springs that come with the kit, with BRP thick lube.Ran Jaco dbl purples front, dbl pink rear.(2 stage). I have no high speed steering, low speed is great.I went to CRC blues up front and got a bit more high speed but,it's just not turning enough at all.Started with a parma speed 8 body and ended up with the hot bodies WSC which helped.Any ideas?Have one more heat and mains tomorrow, would like to make the show.Thanks,Mario.

i think double purple is way too much. go with a purple fronts. you can also add a little more preload on the center spring.

lotus1,

I had the same problem 1 week ago, at our Carpet champs, was way off in setup, I eventuallu ran Dbl Pink fronts and Dbl pink rears, helped a little, Wayne Gerber, told me this setup.
Move batts all the way up,20 front springs, assc olive spring, 100 wt oil, blue springs, with .74 tbar 2 screws, full traction up front , middle in the rears, white or magenta rears with purple or plaid fronts CRC,

I ran the new Jaco Tires and felt they had more of a push then the standard tires Hope it helps

also if you look at a few pages back wayne has his halloween clasic setup. that was on a high bite track. and should work well for you on new crc carpet. crc carpet take very little for the traction to come up.
