Best Tamiya Touring Car Body Shell??

What is the best performing "Tamiya made" Touring Car shell?

The general opinion in mod touring car that the Protoform Mazda 6, Speed 6 shell are widely considered to produce good rear grip and still have good steering. Does Tamiya made any shell close to the characteristics of these shells?

Hi. There many Tamiya Bodies that will perform just as good or better
than a Protoform Mazda 6. Attached Photos of the Toyota Corolla Axio
GT and the Honda HSV-010 Raybrig. These are the ones I use. Regards

PS. Also the Xanavi Nismo GTR-35

If you want a competitive Tamiya body, then there's only one choice, the Subaru Legacy B4, part number 53824.

I prefer the subaru legacy B4 2.0 version

If that were the case wouldn't these shells be more popular then the Protoform Mazda's around the world? No disrespect but the rear wings on these don't look like they would produce much downforce.

The EBBRO 350R is a fast body, as is the RAYBRIG NSX 2007. Just one problem, They only fit cars with inboard shocks. The Xanavi Nismo GT-R R35 would be my suggestion for all the other cars out there without inboard shocks.

Starteur 03-14-2011 11:30 AM

Takata NSX 2008 p/n 58424

with the optionnal wings kit p/n 53604, this is a wing set with wich you can tune the desired downforce!!!

I not to sure about that one....I had hoped that it would be ok to use in 21.5 Club Spec racing, but it wasn;t very good at all.....just couldn't get the rear to stick nearly as well as the Mazda6 did.

It's a shame really as it would have looked a treat on the track no doubt.
