Great coverage V12! Were you also able to take a close up pic of Reinhard's car?

Hereīs an other update for more technical details.

Modified-Motors:
as said already we have a 12Turn limit as itīs usually in Europe. Most drivers used Team Orion V2 motors.
Sascha Falter racing for Team Associated/Keil had some very fast Reedy motors. He used the Ti version.
Benni Gröschel racing for LRP used the Fusion Phase 4 motors also based on a Ti can and was as fast also.
Markus Fost/ GM-Racing used the latest Purple Beast motors.

Stock-Motors:
Handout motor was a 27T rebuildable motor made by Team Orion according to the current rules. This way different to the ROAR motors.
Differences are ballbearings, standup brushes, very thick wire (0.8mm).
Also the armature is not a split rotor like the ROAR motors but a onepiece unit as the modified rotors. Another difference is the twisted commutator. Overall this way the motor is much more powerful maybe something as a 19t motor.

The handout motor had to be run as supplied without changing brushes or springs. Also no bending the springs. Only thing allowed was soldering the brushes instead of screwing and trueing the commutator.
Also there was no gearlimit. Most drivers used a gearratio in the 5.0 - 5.5 range.

Batteries:
You could see some Sanyo 3600īs but I donīt know if anybody really run them.
All of the Team Orion drivers used the GP3300 as most other drivers also.

ESCīs:
Some of the TRF drivers including Marc Rheinard, Marc Fischer and Tony Rheinard were using the Hara Twister/KO VFS-2000.
The other TRF drivers mostly used CS-Electronic RocketMax.

LRP Quantum Compettion 2/Nosram Dominator Evolution also was seen very often. I donīt know if the LRPīs or the CS was used more but both were used the most.
In smaller numbers you could see the GM SX12W, Robitronic Spirit and Novak GT7. No GTX here since now.
CS-Electronic had their newest catalogue with them showing the soon to be released CS Promax.

I think I was the only one using a MRT VX Pro ESC but as promised by the MRT guys it did work without any problems in the wet conditions. I didnīt use any additional protection on it just for the receiver and motor.
On friday I was running 5 practice runs in the wet.

Servos:
Most drivers are using the Futaba 9550 now as its providing more room for the electronics than other servos.
Beside this KO-servos could be seen very often also.

Chargers:
Most drivers used the LRP Pulsar or the Robitronic chargers. Others were the CS and GM chargers.
But also the Protrak could be seen. One driver had a custom faceplate on his Protrak. I have a picture later on this. Itīs a design similar to the one Maezumi uses.

Tirewarmers:
Lot of drivers were using them as their was a big advantage there for the first 2 laps. some drivers let them on the car until the starting line.
Marc Rheinard was using the Yokomo digital warmers, Markus Fost had the Team Much more warmers with him. Most drivers were using the wrap around typ as sold by Trinity or Tamiya but the newer cup typ seems working as well.

One word on traction compounds: some drivers used them some not. As the weather conditions were unsure some drivers didnīt use any compound and this worked also.
I donīt know exactly which traction compounds were used by the topdrivers but it seemed most used the LRP Asphalt.

Waterproofing: There were different things tried for this. Ballons, Blue Tac, Silicone sealant or small boxes for receiver and ESC. I have some picture on this also.

Yes I have some pictures from Marc Rheinards car and some others. Need to resize later as they are still to big for posting.
Have to wait as the computer with the Photoshop software is in use for another thing currently.

Really? Iīm not sure on this. I think because of the paintjob itīs difficult to see what body itīs in reality.
But one thing is sure he used a Tamiya wing on this body.
Maybe I have more pictures on this body.

Later he used an other body (Mazda6 with stock wing) as this worked better on this track.

Yeah, I am sure of this. You can tell by the front grill, rear side windows, and the rear end which is slightly tilted upward.
