I think that is still to high. I will be finalizing the pricing on the car and putting it up on the website for pre-orders tomorrow. Look for it to be around the price of the existing Team TC3.

Horizon has the TC4 priced at 219.00. Which is right on line with the current Team version of the TC3. I think Tower's pricing is off.

Towers pricing will come down. They always price their new "blind" items out of market as to not offer it to cheap before the price hs been established. It will come down tot he current team price.
Remember when the GFX was on tower before it was available, they had it listed for 549.00
So, its there set up philosophy.

I am VERY tempted to buy it as soon as it comes out, but I am debating if I should just wait for the Factory Team Kit. It's going to hard to say goodbye to my FT TC3
TIME TO MOVE ONTO BETTER THINGS

How about a pic of the bottom of the car?

I really can't understand people who are still saying this is a 3.5. There are probably about 50 different items on the TC4, including the base of it all, the chassis.
You cannot put your TC3 bits on a TC4 chassis so why on earth are people still moaning about it not being a new car. If it were just an update we would be able to put all our good TC3 bits on it, but AE have gone one further. They haven't just bodged it, simply to announce a new car, like some manufacturers due habitually. They have done it the right way.
And people still complain.

are always going to complain. It comes down to they really WANT the newest and best thing. They are mad because it eats them up knowing they don't have the latest and greatest. Many went out and purchased some other chassis kit and some are stuck with a large investment. They rationalize, by saying I'll stick with my TC3 because, well, it's just a revised TC3. They don't read, and all they look are the cool picture boxes. AE addressed the TC3 bugs and then some. My friend, that is worth it's weight in gold. The race is on!
Any pics of the under side? I am wondering if they cut out the cell slots like the XXX-S. I thought my packs fit much better in the XXX-S. My 2-cents..

That would be funny if the FT TC4 came with a woven carbon fiber chassis as opposed to the tub. That would sorta make you guys STFU huh ... nah people would still bitch.

I'm waiting for the Factory Kit. It'll probably be cheaper and better spec like what happened when the Team kit was given the Factory treatment. Hope the TC4 wins worlds!

But the driver who want to go fast, first learn how to set up the car before buying purple alu or graphite all over...
But perhaps there a two way of doing this. One is purely racing, and one is the hobby side, where rebuilding is more important than performance.
I guess booth way are OK as long as someone find it fun.

they kept the important thing intact, that famous AE drivetrain.
i've built a bunch of cars but i still see AE's drivetrain as the benchmark. they got it right the first time, everytime. i saw some more of the pictures in the other thread. the car looks great. it'll be interesting to see how it stacks up against yokomo, hpi, and tamiya's offerings.

If I can sell my BMI FTTC3, then I would like to get the TC4. In the meanwhile, I will be running my SD.
