I havent run mod with the Rev. 4 in the past 2 years but a good starting point would be 1.70" front tires and 1.80" rear tires and around a 25/100 to start out with, you might have to go up or down a few teeth, but you should be in the ballpark.

Default Rev 4.5 Conversion

Is the Rev 4.5 offered as a kit yet or am I going to have to buy a Rev 4 kit + 4.5 conversion? I'd much rather buy it as a complete kit then have to buy all those extras.

Thanks

Rusty

I think in the relativly short future that the 4.5 will be offered as a kit, although it might be after vegas as I know bruce has been really hetic getting ready for the International Champs.

The rev. 4 is still a dialed car, and as long as you dont mind taking the top plate off to remove and put in the motor you will be just as happy; it is not really any difference in performance.

Hey Mark, I have a new Rev3 coming to me. Is it worth it for a new 12th scale driver to upgrade to the 4? or 4.5 even? I plan on running it at Horsham. If you have any setup suggestions, that would be awesome. Also should I be running the old school front end or the new front end?

The Rev 4.5 is already available on their website. I saw it yesterday in the news section.

Bob I would suggest upgrading to a 4 or a 4.5. The difference between a 4 adn 4.5 is just the rear pod, its a hair stiffer and you dont have to remove the top plate to get the motor out, also if you run brushless its alot easier to get everything to fit. The rev. 3 used to rub on the sides of the chassis in the corners and burn off traction in club racing to some extent, it is still a good car but I would suggest upgrading.

And defantantly stick with the old style front end, i think every single person on the team has played with the strut front end and gone back, its alot more to adjust and have to reshim and get tweaked. And the old style provides plenty of easy to drive steering.

As far as Mike's worlds set up i think he ran pretty close to his cleveland set up but with 18 front springs and non wrap tires (as they were not legal), and i think one or two other things were different, but I cant rememeber them off the top of my head. I wouldnt really suggest anyone copy that set up unless they use the type of carpet that the worlds ran on, bruce said it was very different than the dupont or ozite carpet everyone runs in the states.

I'm running a new Rev 4.5 with box stock setup, purple fronts, gray rears and having problems with the car pulling to one side when I brake. I dialed out a lot of brake to aleviate the problem but, I still need some brake.

Also, I seem to have a slight push turning one direction and a slight oversteer the other direction.

Any ideas on either situation? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
