Also mill the bottom of the front steering blocks by .030 then space up the top to take out the difference - the exact directions are on this thread somewhere by Bruce of Speed Merchant

the rev 4 has the standoffs for the tweak brace inboard on either side of the pivot ball for the rear pod. The wings are on the rev 3 where the standoffs used to be on the rev4 are gone. This keeps the car from rubbing on the chassis in corners. IMHO the rev 4 is by far the best 12th scale on the market, and is by far the best execution of the link car concept. Upgrade the car, you won't be dissapointed

thanks Ed! good runs you had in 19t at Novak, btw...

now i need to see who has the conv kit in stock.

the L4 i have has the blue CRC pod plates on it... good choice for this car? and do most use the old skool front? this car has it on there now, but i can grab the newer one off the AE if need be.

im going to be running this car some in TX, large track, fairly smooth, if that helps. plus, ill probebly try to run at the IIC in Vegas as well.

Default servo

Ok I have an airtronics 94145 and a jr z3550. The stock servo mount location is not going to work so I will have to shoe goo it. Just wondering what servo Bruce used to design the chassis? I'm sure there is one out there that is a direct fit. I noticed the pics of Dumas's car has a small JR z3650 so he must have drilled new servo mount locations.

the 3650 and 3550 are the best 12th scale servos bar none. The chassis isn't designed for any specific servo, just either shoe goo with a peice of servo tape in the center of the servo or bite the bullet and bust out the drill and or drill press. Bruce has a template for the jr servos, I'll see if he can post it so people can print it out and use it to drill.
