The body rules are under ROAR spec. There is a minimum ride height and its checked every run. 190mm wide car. You go thru tech before you get on the track every time, as well as your battery voltage is checked and weight is checked. When your done your run they check your cars speed control in the blinky class while your out corner marshaling.

We also check your speed control setting before your run as well.

If I remember correctly ride height has been 5mm for sedans.

For wings, in the past years, we also check to make sure it is not higher than the roof of your car.

For battery voltage readings we strongly encourage you to come up with a charged pack and take a reading using the meter the tech crew uses. This way you can figure out if there are any differences in readings between your charger and the meter. If there is you will need to make the necessary adjustments when charging.

I still haven't registered however will be soon.

I am having a problem deciding what classes to run. I will have two sedans and my initial thought was to race 17.5 Stock(no boost) and modified. Problem is I see that last year those classes ran back to back? Is there any schedule arranged yet for the class order? I like a nice relaxing week rather then race, marshal race... or worst race, race, marshal. LOL It seems a few mod drivers ran 17.5 Boosted... so that might be my only option. Could end up being a 'beer' week rather then a 'race' week with those caliber drivers! LOL

My other question is regarding 17.5 motors. I see some rumblings of some newer 17.5 not being legal. Is there a list of NON-legal 17.5 motors for IIC or are any allowed with 17.5 stamp?

One last question - is there a rule about allowed tire traction? Corally, Much more etc?

Don't bring traction compounds or motor spray in your carry-ons or luggage.

Hey Scotty, are wives allowed in the poker tournament? We will be down together from the Friday before and I am just planning our weekend.

I am all signed up for my first IIC. See you all there.

The schedule of classes hasn't been set yet but I would be willing to bet that it will be similar to last years but we may do some tweaking.

For the motor it has to be available on a commercial level meaning that it is available retail. Is there one that you were thinking of getting but not sure if it is allowed?

I believe wives are allowed because we let Boomer play in the tournament last year. (oh he is going to kill me for saying that but oh well )

If memory serves, last year the poker tournament was open to racers and their spouces. I would think it would be the same this year.

The International Indoor Championships will be back for its 7th year, Again hosting the IIC will be the Riviera Hotel and Casino, Located right on the strip in Las Vegas it is the perfect location for this amazing event.

The dates for this years event will be Oct 3-8th 2011. The format and schedule will be run the same as in years past and is as follows.

Oct 2 Poker Tournament open to all IIC racers and Family
Oct 3 Monday Check in and pit set up
Oct 4 Tuesday Practice and Drivers meeting buffet Dinner
Oct 5 Wed Qualifying & Sponsors Meet and Greet with free food & beer
Oct 6 Thur Qualifying
Oct 7 Fri Qualifying
Oct 8 Sat Mains

Classes and structure are still being worked on but will be similar to last years event. With the date moved to Oct, we are sure it will work into everyone's schedule better and make for the best IIC in many years.

The Poker tournament was a huge success last year, we had nice turnout but many people were a bit timid to join in the fun and stood on the side lines, This will not be the case this year as they all said to me last year that now that they watched and saw it was so much fun. They will all join in next year. So who is going to be the one to take the Poker Crown from the Defending IIC Poker Champion Paul Lemieux? Or is Paul going to repeat as champion. Last year it was a Cheese Head Podium as Jeremy and Showtime of the IIC Team completed the podium. Will the do it again. We will see!

The Riviera has continued to work with us to give you the best deals possible. Rates will again be $49 during the week and $79 on the weekends.

Interest in the IIC has always been strong around the world, but this year we should have our biggest turnout of international drivers ever as everyone wants to be part of the most prestigious on road race in the world.

All the registration information and hotel details will be out soon but set your calendar for Oct as the on road world will descend on Las Vegas for the 7th running of the IIC.

Details can be found at www.intchamps.com

See you in October.
Scotty
