I had a 9t powered by GP3300 matched and went head to head with a 5 port stock 705. Mine could keep up till just before the 705 kicked into 2nd gear then after that it was a long bubbye in a smoke.
Nope! 710s, mtx3s and ntc3s with 5 ports. The track is too short for them to over take. We'll go into the 1st corner after the straight head to head and we'll say bye bye in the infield.

On my clubs outdoor track I used to practice with the IC cars using my old XXX-S. Down the back straight I could stick with them until they hit second. Round the infield (which is pretty open) they were quite similiar.

Not bad considering this was against a Serpent 705 all kitted out for national racing...

Once they hit second gear they are long gone though... gonna take some insane speed car (or AJG's micro ) to catch one!

Sorry guys for the wait, I had to order new brushes, since my lhs didn't have them in stock. They will be in about the 7th of next month. I got a new radio though, with a really good range, and no glitching.
