Default The one-way alternative? (XXXS?)

Is there an aftermarket one-way for the Losi XXX-S. One thing thats been stopping my dad from getting one for his car is the fact that the losi one-way is all plastic and all cost ($50+) If theres something thats either A)cheaper or B)better that I could point him towards it would be much appriciated

PS: If theres no such thing...is there an aluminum spool for the XXX-S (outdrive breakage is a problem w/a spool)

Thanks -Dan

In case anyone else who drives a Losi wants to know. Team IRS makes an aluminum spool for the XXX-S - http://www.teamirsrc.com

You can get one from KTHobbies a considerable amount cheaper

the one good thing about the Losi oneway is that should you break an out drive you can replace just the side that you broke instead of having to buy a whole new oneway.

I myself and several others who run a spool in the XXXS have built up spools using the steel diff halves. NO breakage but it is hell on the pin holes in the CVD's.
