The carbon wheels are actually available in 5 different options. I'll break 'em down here:

8-spoke...........24mm/0 offset
12-spoke.........24mm/0 offset
dish.................24mm/0 offset

6-spoke...........25mm/0 offset
5-spoke...........25mm/2-deg. offset

I don't know if RC1 actually distributes all of the 5 versions of the wheel, but if they do I'm sure they are available from mdiracing in south florida.

I run the 8-spoke wheel on my RC Lab.

I just raced my 7even for the first time on a carpet track with rubber tires. I won the A main but I feel I need to carry more corner speed. I started with the stock setup and changed the shock positions and finally put in the 5 degree castor blocks and it helped but I think there is more speed to be found. Any one have a good carpet setup?

if you look on the mdiracing.com site...click on featured product (brings you to rclab stuff). Scroll down to Indoor Carpet setup link. Hope that helps. Congrats on your win!

Default What is new about the 7 Even Pro 6.0 II?

Are there upgrades from the 6.0 to the 6.0 II so that if someone want to upgrade from one to another that they could?

The version II has a slightly different rear top deck for better belt clearance, lighter front/rear bulkheads and also lighter engine mount. The center pulleys appear to be a nylon/plastic material as well, different from the alum. originals. The newer ones I believe make the belts wear less. That might be it, but yes you can also get those newer parts seperately.

That's a 6.0, but the original version. If I'm looking at the right page anyway. The only real noticeable differences (visual) on the 6.0 ver.II is the rear upper deck isn't notched for the belt, but rather cut straight and the motor mount looks different on the pinion side. Rather than the pinion side being one big piece (heavier), RC Lab just made a plate that the motor mounts to. The carbon looks shinier on the vers.II as well, but I think it's just a new coating.

Default Let me know where we can see real Pro 6.0 II photos.

I would like to see a comparison performance-wise between the two. Was the suspension modified at all?

For all you original 6.0 owners out there...don't sweat it. The version II is basically an update on some of the parts. If you were to order replacements of those part #'s they would be the new items...but it's not likely to give you any significant performance gains. As well, it's more cost effective to just buy a whole new kit rather than just order the updated parts.

If you don't have the common spares already for yourself, it may just be well worth ordering a new kit for $189.99

For possible new owners, the updated parts are worth it.

As well, we'll soon start getting more anodized parts and other stuff too like possibly some ti-stuff too.

You can check out the RC Lab UK site to see some of the new stuff on the near horizon for the USA. http://www.rclab.co.uk/

They call the Version II an EVO/1.

Of course, the version II is available and Mdi has them in stock, but the UK site shows some other new stuff that's coming.

I just went and checked out the photos of the Evo I. The main difference that I saw besides the anodizing, and the motor-plate (Which I already have something like that on my car that I had kicking around my tool box) was a front belt tensioner that goes where the attennae mount goes. I don't see anyway to mount the attennae now on the car. I'm sure that is addressed some how, but I just don't see it in the photos.
