Default Ni-Cd Battery Question

I am new to the RC scene. I built a TC3 a month ago, and got a E-Maxx and Revo the past few weeks.

I am using all 2400 Ni-Cd on my TC3 and E-Maxx.

My question is:

How long can I keep my Ni-Cd fully charged?

I am racing my TC3 tomorrow for the first time, so can I charge up a couple packs tonight?

Can I keep them fully charged for 24 hours?

Thanx.

Default Well I've never had a problem with.....

charging them up the night before and just peaking them before the race (this is with Ni-Cads) don't know if it's ok with NiMah ones though.

How would I peak them right before the race?

I am using a Dynamite Mega Peak detection AC/DC charger.

Sorry I don't know the charger you speak of. I just ment charge them at night and take them off just after they go to trickle mode. And then when at the track put them on fast charge again during the race before yours to top them/peak them up. That's how I always did it/do it with Ni-Cads.
