Default Where is your Ride made

Just curious, I was reading the manuals for my Onroad cars and I'm surprised Xray appears the only kit which is pretty open about where the kit is produced.
I didn't see anything for my TCX (maybe I just overlooked it). I thought it was produced in Japan.

Not meant to start a bashing thread...just curious. Where are today's kits being produced.

Again not to start any bashing just a want to know question.

most cars are made in china (associated for example have their cars made by thunder tiger)

i think that tamiya, kyosho and maybe hot bodies have some parts made in japan

xray is made in slovakia

to be honest im glad that most things are made in china today, if produced locally the prices would be alot higher than it is today.

X-Ray are very proud of where their gear is made, and it's a marketing point for them. Good on them.
Like has been mentioned, most other cars are made around Asia, but in saying that, many other popular companies are Asian to begin with, such as Tamiya, Yokomo, HPI, 3 Racing, to name a few.
It usually comes down to economics. Sad (sometimes), but true.
