The Pro-Trak battery management system will give you nice numbers you can use to match packs.

The pro trak is preety much similar to the Futaba CDR 5000, how does this compare to one another? And what can the Pro Trak do that the Turbo Matcher 4/35 or CDR 5000 cant?

I don't know about the cdr, I know very little about them, but the turbo matcher will only do one cell at a time, the protrak will give you individual cell
data while still as a pack. The new software will give unprecedented data to the average racer which has not been available before, details are on the website.

I'd guess that the Pro trak was cheaper too, but thats only a guess.

Thaks looking at the Pro Trak website as we speak.

I have a CDR 5000 it monitors preety much voltage of each cell, does the Pro Trak read volts per cell only or does it do more than jsut volts.

Anyway ill keep reading about it......

Pro Trak measures almost everything in a cell or pack format.
Time
Volts
Mah
pack match %age
average volts
volts after 5 mins
Calculates a punch %age.

WRX

Send me an e-mail at: -

[email protected]

I'll send you an excell file which will demonstrate what I'm talking about. It's a charge and discharge cycle with the Pro Trak connected to my pc, the pc captured all of the data during this cycle. From this cycle I generated a graph for displaying the info.

If anyone else is interested, please feel free to e-mail me.

I can't post the file on the forum as it will not accept excell file extensions.
