Best Drift Tires?
Instead of going through 1000 pages on the drift thread I figure I'd just ask lol.
what are yall using for drift tires?
I got a set of the yokomo single bands on my 4tec however I'm going to do up a new Mitsu Evo 5 body and wanna get some black work emotion wheels. With that I thought about getting another set of yokomo tires since they work great however they're a bit expensive.
Should I pick up a set of the HPI drift tires? Should I just get some ABS plastic? lol Are the yokomos still the best?

depending on surface, I really liked the HPI tires that came with the RS4 Drift kit, No clue on part # or what they were called, But i know they were HPI and i Know they came with the RS4 drift conversion kits.

got some poke tuck on that thing!
I drift on carpet, asphalt AND concrete lol. The yokomo's work well on all 3 it seems, carpet I need a little more power though

What offset wheels should I get? lol. I was thinking about 6mm. I'm currently using Yokomo Rays 57 wheels and they hae like no offset. With the traxxas stampede wider hexes the wheels are just short of fitting 200mm bodies nicely, I figured 6mm would be pretty slick, or maybe a staggerd setup like 3mm front and 6mm rear.
Anyhow anyone know what the offset of the Rays 57 Yokomo wheels even are?

I'm using a sweet Traxxas 4-tec, remember those? lol
I'll be using 200mm bodies, most of the cool "drift" bodies are 200.
I'm using Stampede hexes which are about 3mm wider than the stock 4tec ones which makes the wheels ALMOST look right on this bod with the rays 57 yokomo wheels.
