XXX-S graphite shock towers question.

Has anyone seen the new PRP shock towers? I was hoping some one would make SSG shock towers like the Speed Tech, but 5mm thick and recessed liked the stock ones. Anyone make these?

Yep - I have a set and they are very nicely done. PRP does great work, mine are the pre-production and are strong. Extra holes front and rear as well as another row of holes. If your looking to run Tamiya shocks they make the transition easy.

Well worth the cost

does...

PRP have a website address? Where can I get these?

Our shock towers are not quite ready yet. They have been delayed a little while longer.

our site, http://www.teamprpracing.com

PRP towers look like they are...

2mm thick. Not what I am looking for. I would get the Speed Tech over those. Thanks anyway.

I have one of the older ones, and it's 3mm thick, been running it a while and havent broken. I've seen the new ones and I believe they are the same thickness if not thicker.

Our towers are 3mm thick and they are very rigid.

i second team prp.3mm quasi isotropic carbon fiber is incredibly rigid.i use the same and it is much more rigid than the standard grade c/f you find out there.5mm would be overkill and the price goes up dramatically when you get to those extreme thicknesses.

I guess but...

I like the stock ones. Losi just needs to make more mounting positions. My dream towers would look like the stock ones but in SSG graphite plates. Just my 2-cents. I'm just an RC nut. :D
