Especially 13.5T Brushless Motors How often you guys Buy new Motor??

mine last about 8-12 months. running 3-4 weekends a month approx 7-10 runs a weekend. i toasted a novak not too long ago but it was because i over geared the crap out of it and burnt it up. i typically don't even bother temping then and just run them into the ground until they melt down and just get another one.

I guess the motors last a long time I still have a 13.5 motor that is 3 years old. Don't over gear the motor or the motor can be a one shot deal.

Just replace the bearings when needed and replace the rotor if the motor starts to overheat under normal gearing.

Not pushing motors to the edge in my offroad cars, I have had a 6.5 going for over a year and a 5.5 that is approaching a year. The 6.5 is still original (have yet to replace anything) and the 5.5 had a rotor and front bearing replaced because the mesh jammed after a crash and it overheated durring the race

they can last for years if u keep the bearings in good shape, im still using ny original 8000kv motor from CC. it's been over a year now.

5.5 lrp vector was good for three and a half years in 1/12, after that front bearing broke

I've had my 7700 mamba max for more then 3 years an it's still running great.
My 4600 mm is over 2 years old and just as fast as it was when it was new.
I have never oil the bearings on ether one but all I do is on road with them.

My oldest brushless motor is a 13.5t. I bought it in early summer 2007 and have used it basically every weekend since then. Still as good as new.
